The Semarang Night Carnival event is an annual event in the city of Semarang, an activity carried out as an annual agenda. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the communication strategy used by the Semarang City Disbudpar in campaigning for the Semarang Night Carnival 2022 using Instagram social media. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The stages of data collection carried out in this study included observation, interviews and documentation. In the credibility test using triangulation technique. The results of this study are the use of Instagram social media can be said to be quite successful and obtain positive results and can be used as the basis for the next program strategy in the success of the next event. This also proves that the Semarang City Culture and Tourism Office in this case also uses a communication strategy, namely at the reporting stage in campaigning for the Semarang Night Carnival 2022 event even without using posts uploaded to the Semarang City Culture and Tourism Office Instagram account in conveying the success of its use.
